The Value of Value
Aren't we all always looking for great value? Getting more for our dollar and stretching those dollars further. It's not always easy to do. We are constantly bombarded by ads and specials and sales everywhere we go. And it's always the same stuff. This is on sale this week, that's on sale next week, and oh! you should've been at last week's sale. Today only! 50% off. Buy one get the second free....it goes on and on. But it is always the same things, things we buy everyday, and the sale never seems to be happening on what we need or want when we want it or need it. Not to mention that for most of the things we all need and buy all the time, we aren't really getting deals anyway; because we are paying for a name most of the time, or settling for a generic. There is a word for that: hype. And not to mention, that is some cases, the hype we are supposed to fall for is for poisons and harsh chemicals disguised as cleaners and disinfectants and the like. Big companies that supply chain and grocery stores, only care about profits. They don't care about you or your family, your childrens health or saftey and they sure don't care about the environment. And with the few that do, or at least pretend to, you either have to sacrifice quality, or pay more and sadly, sometimes it's both. I've realized this, as I think most of us have, but just felt defeated; what are you going to do about it? It's our only choice right? I can't afford to search out and pay extra for better quality...WRONG!! I finally found a place to shop that actually cares about family's health and safety and environmental wellness as well. At first I thought, "Yeah sure, here's another bunch of hype and hooey trying to rook me into something and milk my wallet some more". But, after doing some looking, asking and researching trying to debunk all of these claims... I found out there was nothing to debunk...someone was actually, finally, telling the truth. Better prices and better quality, and it's super easy and convenient to use. It has changed and enhanced my life, and there is so much more great great stuff this place does and represents, I am truly blown away. But, you don't have to take my word for it, as a matter of fact, don't. Check it out for yourself, and let me know if you don't think. It's called Melaleuca and they've been doing great things for well over 20 years. Go to their website, and get to know them for yourself. Let me know what you think, agree or disagree. I'd like to hear what you think.

Why Home Business?
So you want to begin your journey down the road to success? For a little on how I feel about success, check out my previous blog. Today, I want to talk about paths to success. It is pretty much accepted that the best way to success is owning your own business. That is true, but what's the problem? Capital! Capital, or money, is what keeps most people from starting their own business, and you can't blame them; it takes a lot of money, time, headache and risk to start and own a traditional business. You have your building/office, employees, inventory, advertising costs, insurance and so on and so forth. Daunting, huh? This is not to mention, having an idea for a business, competing for customers and actually doing the work. Many many people and families worldwide have found that having a home based business, usually "partnering" with a larger, established company seems to be a very viable option, if not the answer. But sadly, the vast majority of these business ventures don't turn out the way the would-be-entrepreneur hoped; at least not as soon as they had hoped. Sometimes it's because they just got lazy, bored, discouraged etc., but most of the time they honestly put forth all the effort, time and investment, and do exactly what they are told and coached to do...and it still doesn't work. Why? Because most of the time, what they are told and coached to do, is outdated and ineffective. It's not their fault. To truly do well and succeed in any business, whether it's a traditional "brick and mortar" or a home-based/internet business, you need the proper knowledge and tools. Most importantly, you need a SYSTEM, and you must learn how to utilize what you already have and learn how to implement that system. I have just recently learned this "secret", and it has made all the difference, now I am putting my time and energy into much more productive avenues and I am seeing growth in not only my business, but more importantly, in myself and my personal development. If you are even THINKING about going into business for yourself, or if you already have one, no matter your level or lack of success, you owe it to yourself to learn what I am learning, and check it out for yourself. The information alone, is INVALUABLE! You can learn so much for free, it's truly amazing. I highly recommend seeing it for yourself, the experts are waiting for you, and I'll see you there.

The Road to Success
Success vs. failure. It's a classic story, almost like that of good and evil. The first kind of success you must strive to achieve is self success. If you don't grow yourself, nothing else around you can grow to succeed...FACT! Success is measured differently by everyone, because everyone has different goals and ideals, and that's a good thing, it's what makes us human. Most of the time, though, the word "success" makes us think "rich" and/or "powerful", which are both other terms everyone has a different parameters and ideals for measuring or qualifying. But let's get back to success; my definition of success is having the ability and the means to accomplish what is needed, and having time (and money) to do the fun things, while also having a desire and the ability to help others achieve their own success. In case you haven't figured it out by now, success the way I see it can almost never be reached if you are letting someone else decide what you do, when you do it and worse yet, letting someone else (who most likely doesn't even KNOW you) decide what you are worth. How do you decide that for yourself though? First, you need to understand and believe that last sentence you just read. I kind of figured you do already, though, or you probably wouldn't be here. Deciding to be a leader is another important step to success, and one of the best ways to do that is investing in yourself. Maybe that means proving yourself to your boss and hoping he or she notices, and you start a string of promotions and raises, but then someone else is still deciding your worth, and there we are again. Being your own boss and deciding your own worth is a much straighter path to success and self fulfillment. But first you have to decide that you are worth the investment in yourself. A home business is the most viable option for most of us to get started down this road, because you don't have to already be rich to start, or risk your home on a 2nd, 3rd mortgage, or any of the things that stop most people from stop the majority of people from taking that step and believing in themselves, which if you remember, is where we started here... If any of this makes sense, take a look at some FREE information that may surprise you:
